The Fuente Osmena or Osmena Fountain is located in an oval park, which doubles as a rotunda (roundabout) in uptown Cebu City. It is a major landmark in Cebu City and almost everyone who’s been to the city would have likely encountered Fuente Osmena on purpose, by necessity, or accidentally. The fountain was built to commemorate Cebu’s first waterworks system in 1923 and named after former Philippine President Sergio Osmena.

Fuente Osmena may refer not only to the fountain but also the oval park, rotuna, and whole area near the fountain. An image of Fuente Osmena can be found at the right end of the 50 Philippine Peso Currency Bill.

The Fuente Osmena Circle can be found at the intersection of Omena Boulevard (more popularly known as Jones St.) and General Maxilom Avenue (or Mango Ave.). Nearby landmarks include the Cebu Provincial Capitol, Robinsons Place Cebu Mall, and Crown Regency Hotel and Towers.
