Quijano Beach

Quijano Beach is a yellow-sand beach located at Magsaysay town, approximately 8 kilometers east of Cuyo town in Cuyo Island. Quijano Beach is a popular windsurfing destination during the Amihan season, which lasts from late October to March and is characterized by moderate temperatures, little or no rainfall, and a prevailing wind from the east. The direction of the wind switches during the other half of the year providing calm waves at the coast of Quijano Beach with less chances to go surfing.

The road from Cuyo Town Proper to Magsaysay town is not very developed marred with a poorly maintained concrete/dirt road so expect a bumpy ride. Hiring a single motorcycle driver to Quijano Beach costs P100 up.
