SM City Lanang is an upcoming mall development in Davao City by SM Prime Holdings, the largest mall operator in the Philippines. SM City Lanang, also referred to as SM City North Davao, will be the second SM Supermall in Davao City. The project is already in its construction phase and is due for completion in 2012.

SM City Lanang is reported to have have a gross floor area of around 40,000 square meters, which is half in size compared to the existing SM City Davao situated at the southern part of the city proper.
New Design Perspectives of SM City Lanang
SM City Lanang is located within a 10-hectare property in Lanang District, approximately six kilometers north of the Davao City Hall. The land was purchased by SM Prime from Dakudao and Sons, Inc., and was previously part of the 40-hectare Lanang golf course. SM Prime plans to develop the whole property into a mixed-use complex comprising of SM City Lanang Mall, a proposed convention center, and a 200-room hotel.
The 200-room hotel will be a branch of Park Inn by Radisson Hotels, a mid-market hotel brand under Carlson Hotels group. The P750-million hotel project is expected to start in the third quarter of 2011 and is scheduled to open by 2013.
